- Cold-pressed oil from Oenothera biennis seeds. Rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA, around 9% of the oil), an omega-6 fatty acid that bypasses the rate-limiting delta-6-desaturase enzyme. GLA converts to anti-inflammatory PGE1 prostaglandins.
