RESPIRATORY DIFFUSE
Diffuse during congestion. Radiata is milder than globulus and friendlier to little lungs.
STEAM INHALATION
2 to 3 drops in a bowl of hot water for a face-tent steam session.
CHEST RUB
Dilute to 2 percent in carrier and massage onto chest before sleep.
SAUNA OR SHOWER STEAM
A few drops on a hot stone or shower floor opens the sinuses fast.

Diffuser drops
Use 4 to 5 drops per 100ml water. Run for 30 to 60 minutes during cold and flu season, or whenever the room feels stale.
Topical dilution
Dilute to 2 percent in carrier oil (12 drops per 30ml). Apply to chest, back and soles. Safer for over-3s than other eucalyptus varieties when properly diluted.
Blends with
Pairs with peppermint, tea tree, lemon, rosemary and lavender for respiratory and cleansing blends.
Avoid during
Avoid on infants under 2 years. Use sparingly during pregnancy. Keep away from eyes and avoid high-dose topical use on epileptics or those with asthma.
