Who is it for?
Children ages 1 to 6 with low fish intake, picky eaters, families wanting to support brain and eye development during the fastest-growth window, and any child whose diet does not include 2 servings of fatty fish per week.
Why use it?
Brain dry weight is roughly 60 percent fat, and a large portion of that is DHA. The 1 to 6 age window is when brain growth is fastest and dietary DHA needs are highest. Most kids do not eat enough fish to cover it.
When to use it
Daily with a meal that contains some fat. Most parents find breakfast or dinner works best.
How to use it
Children 1 to 3 years: ½ teaspoon daily. Children 4 to 6 years: 1 teaspoon daily. Refrigerate after opening. Use within 3 months of opening for peak freshness.
