A quarter of a century later, that range has grown to over 250 products and the company is still family-owned, with Cheryl's daughter Holly now working alongside her. Viridian is Soil Association certified, Cruelty Free International Leaping Bunny certified, palm oil free certified, and has been running on 100% green energy since 2002. The company donates a portion of profits to charity each year and was awarded the King's Award for Enterprise in 2023 for a 390 percent rise in export sales. It is a rare combination in the supplement world: scientifically rigorous formulations, no corporate ownership, and a refusal to compromise on the ethics side to chase scale.
